I love cookies and sweets, and my love for these sugary treats was beginning to take a toll on my teeth. I love to bake, so cutting out these items out of my diet was very difficult when it meant not only managing my sweet tooth, but also cutting down on my favorite hobby. I began experimenting with cutting down sugar in my favorite recipes and replacing them with artificial sweeteners. It took some trial and error, but I was able to turn some of my favorite recipes into healthier, more tooth-friendly ones. I created this blog to encourage other people who love to bake, like me, that they can still enjoy the fruits of their labor without sacrificing their teeth if they just make a few tweaks to their recipes to lower the sugar content. It worked for me!
